Long Beach Judicial Partners, LLC
Long Beach Judicial Partners LLC ("LBJP") is Meridiam Infrastructure's wholly-owned project company. Meridiam Infrastructure is a global investment firm dedicated to funding and developing public infrastructure projects. Working from the birth of a consortium, selection of industrial and financial partners, to the award of contracts, Meridiam contributes its considerable expertise in financing projects to work as an active shareholder throughout the life of the project. Committed to developing local communities, Meridiam works with both the public and private sectors to achieve the goals desired by all parties.
By investing in the Long Beach Courthouse, Meridiam has brought the concept of a public-private partnership to the judicial infrastructure sector. The firm manages the consortiumss assets and is an active shareholder throughout the length of the project. In this instance, Meridiam invested $49 million towards the courthouse and will remain with the project for 35 years, until the Administrative Office of the Courts and the State of California have completed payment.

When the construction of the Courthouse is complete county and retail tenants will move in and the building will need to be operated and maintained at a high level of performance. This is where Johnson Controls Inc, (JCI) a company with over 125 years of experience, will step in. During the construction period, JCI is responsible for providing the building technology systems such as building automation, security, and fire alarm to Clark. After construction is completed, JCI will operate and provide facilities management and maintenance for 35 years to Long Beach Judicial Partners.

Many of the world's largest companies rely on JCI to manage 1.5 billion square feet of their commercial real estate.
Clark Design/Build of California, Inc.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Clark Construction Group, LLC, Clark Design Build of California, Inc. will manage the project's design and construction for fast track delivery in 2013. One of the most experienced providers of design-build and construction services in the United States, Clark Construction has completed more than 75 design-build projects. Clark Construction is a 105-year-old company that has grown and expanded to become the 9th largest general contractor in the United States. Clark has years of experience as a contractor for both the judicial system and the government. Judicial projects include the Los Angeles County Hall of Justice (scheduled completion: 2014); the U.S. Courthouse at Omaha, Nebraska; the U.S. Courthouse at Boston, Massachusetts (which won the National Endowment for the Arts' Presidential Design Award for Federal Design Achievement); and the San Francisco Civic Center. Government projects include the U.S. Department of Transportation Headquarters in Washington, D.C., the EPA Research and Administration Facility in Maryland, the Capital Area East End Complex in Sacramento and the Caltrans District headquarters in Los Angeles.
Clark has an excellent relationship with the labor unions in the Los Angeles area. Clark is a signatory to both the Laborers and Carpenters Unions in Los Angeles. Clark has negotiated a Project Labor Agreement with the Los Angeles / Orange Counties Building and Construction Trade Council and affiliated Craft Unions to ensure a supply of qualified and well trained trade workers throughout the construction of the project.
